The more adventurous might want to try lodging in a platform tent
or a cabin without bath, but we recommend the cabin with bath. There
are two types of cabins without bath: the first two are separate
rooms over our main lodge. Bathrooms and toilet facilities are close
by. The second type of cabin without bath are two quaint log cabins
on an island just adjacent to Ojibway, a short paddle across the
channel. Each cabin has a wood stove. There is an outhouse on the
island and usage of the showers at Ojibway. Both of these cabins
provide a true North Woods getaway!
The platform tents provide a unique lodging experience, with the
feeling of "camping out" but on a mattress, without the
hard granite rock to poke in one's side!
All tents and cabins are furnished with bedding and bath linens.
All guests gather for meals in the picturesque dining room overlooking
Lake Temagami. After, you can retire to the cozy atmosphere of the
lodge for cards, games, reading by the fire or simply relax on the
large screened porch as you gaze out over the lake.
